Hartsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Sponsors KAPPA KAN OPENER PROJECT

The Hartsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. sponsored a KAPPA KAN OPENER PROJECT during the last two months.

"The reason we decided to sponsor a KAPPA KAN OPENER PROJECT and drive was because we often donate canned goods to agencies and people, but we never realize individuals need to have a way of opening these canned goods. Thus the Chapter came up with the KAPPA KAN OPENER PROJECT to collect and donate can openers to agencies and individuals. The Purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., is to give back to the community and achieve in every field of human endeavor. We believe in helping the betterment of our community and All Mankind," said Polemarch Kevin N Brown of the Hartsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,Inc.

Polemarch Kevin N. Brown amd Brother William Bell, a member of the Kingstree Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., opened this project to other chapters and other Fraternal Orders, Sororities and all interested persons.

On June 13, 2021 the Hartsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. and The Hartsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. joined together to present Can Openers to the Pee Dee Coalition in Hartsville SC.

"We wish to thank the Ladies of the Hartsville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. for their donations to our KAPPA KAN OPENER PROJECT.

We wish to thank other orders and people who helped in this worthwhile endeavor,"said Polemarch Kevin N Brown.
