Florence Section National Council Of Negro Women Seeking New Members

The Florence Section National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) would like to cordially invite you to become a member of our growing organization. Our founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune an educator and activist, established NCNW in 1935 to provide a platform for women of African descent the opportunity to empower their communities and strengthen families.
Throughout the years, the Florence Section of NCNW has certainly maintained our obligation to empowering our communities and strengthening families by providing deserving students with scholarships, sponsoring a mobile book bag give away and creating an atmosphere for persons of color to be recognized and celebrated by hosting the annual Harambee Program and Scholarship Gala. Annually, The Santa Claus Store is open for families during Christmas to receive much needed items. Also, we have partnered with Trinity Baptist Church to provide supplies for My Bother’s Keeper, A non-profit in Florence to help stamp out poverty.
We are an evolving sisterhood, that believes in legacy and philanthropy. Having you become a part of our organization would be such an honor. Attached, you will find a breakdown of our yearly membership fees, as well as other financial obligations of the Florence Section National Council of Negro Women. For further information, please contact any member of our section or our president, Modestine J. Samuel at modestinesamuel@gmail.com or 1-843-206-7425.
