Rosters and Head Coaches Set for 76th Annual Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl

September 29, 2025

The best high school football players in South Carolina are heading to Myrtle Beach.
Rosters for the 2025 Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl were released today, highlighting 88 seniors selected to represent the North and South teams in the 76th annual all-star game. The matchup is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13, at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
This year’s head coaches are:
· John Boggs, Blue Ridge High School (North team)
· Brian Smith, Barnwell High School (South team)
Scott Earley, executive director of the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association, said the all-star experience is about more than football.
“This week is one of the most meaningful moments in these players’ lives,” Earley said. “It’s a celebration of years of hard work and sacrifice, and it wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of South Carolina’s electric cooperatives. Their commitment gives these athletes a platform to compete, grow and represent their communities with pride.”
The game is the only high school football all-star event in South Carolina sanctioned by both the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association and the South Carolina Football Coaches Association. Selections reflect every classification and region, with no more than two players chosen per school.
Players report to Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, Dec. 9, for four days of practices, film study and team activities before Saturday’s kickoff. Coaches arrive on Monday, Dec. 8.
Advance tickets are available now for $25 at TouchstoneEnergyBowl.com/tickets. Tickets will be $30 at the gate.
Halftime will feature the live presentation of the 2025 Mr. Football award, recognizing South Carolina’s top senior player.
The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl was first played in 1948 and was formerly known as the North-South All-Star Game. South Carolina’s electric cooperatives became the title sponsor in 2013.
The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl is presented by South Carolina’s electric cooperatives in partnership with the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association. The event celebrates excellence in high school football and honors student-athletes for leadership on and off the field.
