Sumter’s 3rd Annual State of Black Owned Businesses Survey Now Open

Every year the Sumter Black Chamber of Commerce surveys local black owned businesses to learn current business strengths and weaknesses. The information collected in the survey is used for strategic planning in the region.
Survey results help the Chamber to advocate on behalf of businesses and residents both locally and nationally. The survey takes roughly 5 mins or less to complete and was created for all minority owned businesses, including black, minority, women, Hispanic, and women entrepreneurs.
The Sumter Black Chamber of Commerce serves Sumter, Clarendon, Florence, and Lee Counties. The Sumter Black Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a hard launch so this year’s data will really help measure success this far.
With new interim board members being appointed and a new partnership with Morris College’s Business Week, the chamber is working to increase its’ reach in the region.
