Florence Welcomes Elite Home Care's Adult Day Center After Extensive Renovations

Elite Home Care is thrilled to invite the community to an open house event at the newly-renovated Florence Day Center on Wednesday, June 28. The event will take place between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to drop in at their convenience and join in the celebration of this exciting milestone.

The Florence Day Center, located at 2120 Enterprise Drive, has undergone an extensive renovation to enhance the comfort and quality of care for our clients. The open house event provides an opportunity for the community to witness the transformation and experience firsthand the exceptional services offered at this state-of-the-art facility.

Opened in May 2023, the 4,200 sq. ft. day center features the following amenities:

Main Day Room that is used for activities, lunch, socializing and fellowship

Health & Wellness Room offers resting and/or sick beds for members. This is also used as the "nurse station" where medication and member charts are securely kept. Nursing treatments, if needed, will be completed in this private area.

Movie Theater complete with reclining chairs and large screen for streaming movies for the day center members. This area can also be used by the members if they wish to rest or relax in recliners instead of being in the main activity area.

Kitchen Area is used for warming as lunch is catered daily. Members are offered two snacks and lunch daily.

Office Space used for home care and transportation departments

Outside Area for members to utilize as well.

During the Open House, guests will be treated to a selection of hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine. Additionally, there will be an exciting range of door prizes.

Additionally, Elite Home Care will be offering free tours of the facility, enabling visitors to explore the various amenities and learn about the comprehensive care programs available. Dedicated staff members will be on hand to answer questions, provide insights into the exceptional care provided, and showcase the innovative features designed to enhance the well-being of the clients.
