St. John Woman’s Convention Scholarship Committee Awarded Scholarships

On July 24, 2022, St. John Woman’s Convention Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships to the following high school graduates to further their future careers: Tysheria Hudson; Center Missionary Baptist Church, Andriq Williams and K’Quadrick Harrison; St. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Damien Pearson; Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and X’Zerrya Clark; New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. All applicants must be a member of their respective churches within St. John Association and must submit an application, a high school transcript, three letters of recommendations, an admittance letter from their chosen school, and an essay (topic chosen by the committee). This year’s recipients received $500.00 each. Since its existence in 2011, as many as 84 students have received over $31,000.00. We wish the 2022 recipients much success in their chosen careers!
