League of Women Voters of Darlington County Hosting Candidates’ Forum

The League of Women Voters of Darlington County is hosting a Candidates Forum, Thursday September 15, 6pm to 7:30pm with Darlington County School Board Candidates District 5 and 7. Davidson Hall, Coker University 300 E. College Ave. Mal Hyman of Coker University will facilitate before you cast your vote November 14th. Come listen to the candidates . Open to the public. City Darlington Offices Closed Monday

County Offices closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, September 5, 2022. Offices will reopen at 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022

Darlington City Council meets at 6 p.m. on Sept. 6 and on the first Tuesday of the month except where noted (*).

Dates for 2022 are Sept. 6; Oct. 4; Nov. 1; and Dec. 6.

Due to COVID restrictions, there is limited seating in the courtroom with preference given to staff, council, and members of the media. Elks Parade Invitation Annual Festivities

Greetings To All Fraternities and Sororities and Fraternal Groups,Clubs and Interested Persons and High School and College Alumni Associations.

Pee Dee United Elks Lodge no.1679 and Excelsior Temple no.790 will be celebrating their Annual Festivities on the 1st weekend in October,in Darlington SC.

We are asking if your Sorority, Fraternity, group or Order, club, group wishing to participate in our parade on October 1, 2022 let us know as soon as time permits.

Line up is Darlington County Health Department at 10am and parade begins at promptly at 11 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
