Rochelle Challenges Reichenbach To Build A Bigger Tent For The Voters Of Senate District 31

“I was beyond surprised to be asked to speak by President Trump and the South Carolina Republican Party at Saturdays’s rally in Florence. I was very grateful to be able to share my testimony and desire to make our region and state a better place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Mike Reichenbach candidate for South Carolina Senate Seat 31 on March 29th.
Reichenbach, who has raised a war chest from local business and community leaders, will face Sazanne La Rochelle for the seat vacated after the death of Senator Hugh Leatherman.
On Tuesday of this week Rochelle issued the following statement, “On Saturday my opponent spoke at the former President’s “Save America” rally in Florence. He went to the rally to support Trump and the GOP. He closed his speech with Luke 12:48 which states “To whom much is given, much will be required.” And how America has given so much. He then stated “we must fight back against the failures that are weakening us today.” You must mean the failures of the GOP controlled legislature. Under the GOP control we have failing mental health systems, failing schools, and failing infrastructure.”
